How does love connect with diamonds? By aiming at what diamonds stand for: immortality. And what better way to express the feelings than the diamond engagement ring?

The theme was generous and popular, and thus widely discussed. The advantage is that there is plenty of information on diamonds and diamond engagement rings. Hence the difficulty to limit to the essence. Yet, despite this multitude of data, there are still some puzzling topics, such as that of Russian diamonds on which not enough can be found out.

What we aimed at, when writing, was to structure logically a useful tool of reference for the buyer and to clear up existing uncertainties. For example, we found out that many confuse diamond shape with diamond cut.

In short, we tried to encapsulate, in a step-by-step survey, relevant information on the main aspects of purchasing a diamond engagement ring, from basics on diamonds to info on settings and rings.

An exhaustive guide to diets is among the things impossible to achieve: one could say “as many diets as people”. And yet, here come the daring aspirants at creating a diets index! Well, in a serious note, we tried not to deal with each and every diet ever, but to reveal important aspects of some popular diets.

The problem with diets is that there was little or no scientific base to back the claims for each diet. The well known institutions in the field of nutrition and health would not review many of these diets.

Our target was to demystify some nailed preconception, to warn against some risky practices (and this happens with most diets) and to point out the qualities of healthy eating habits - promoting weigth loss in a healthy manner.

Not pretending to be a tech-savvy, I really enjoyed writing for the "Email Marketing Software Guide". For about two years I worked in the public relations area, and I remember trying to use some email marketing principles in an intuitive or rather primitive manner for my business clients at that moment. Even so, the results were quite impressive. Today, knowing a lot more, I really believe that an email marketing software is a great tool for gaining new customers and keeping them happy.

We liked “Best Las Vegas Hotels Guide”, for three reasons in particular:

• because it was the first project assigned to us (the IR team), so we were really fresh and enthusiastic;
• because it took us into fabulous Las Vegas; reading and discussing about the so called “Sin City”, keeping an eye on what's happening — feels like we've actually been there, like we've been a part of it.
• because we can switch a bit the words in the newest slogan of Las Vegas — “what happens here stays here” and turn it into “what happens in Vegas stays on our site, too”, which is quite true. From luxury hotels to cheap hostels, from gambling, nightlife and other attractions to shopping — it's all here.

I love monte carlo

The sunny Monte Carlo — one subject that we enjoyed a lot. Digging up information, finding out of the symbol of luxury and well-being was an enchantment:

• All the data that round up the image of a country — culture, history, geography — were as many reasons for having a good time.
• The articles on leisure and entertainment, the chitchat on celebrities — the majority of whom sooner or later link their name to Monte Carlo, the yachts in Monaco and their owners, the comments on the high life of Monaco, the gossips on the royal family, that's what made the delight of this project.

However, we came to more sweat when facing the economic and financial part. The problem we've encountered was that there was little reliable information about legal issues related to taxation, mutual funds, trusts or dividends in Monaco. Also there was little information about the practices of wealth management in Monaco.

south beach diet 101

Preliminary info: we deal with a best-seller, written from the perspective of a cardiologist. So, when put in the situation to write about its subject, we have to discern on whether we deal with just another diet from the pile.

Our “detective” work brings out that, while resemblant to Atkins diet during its first phases, the diet is much improved in as far as the overall health aspects are concerned. That is, carbohydrates and fats are treated in detail, emphasis is made on the consumption of their healthy variants.

Both the success and the debates are due to the different approach of foods. For example, a pro-Southbeach argument would be that it recommends not to ban groups of foods from your diet but to pick the right foods. However, it also recommends reduced quantities of foods such as carrots or orange juice because of their carb content — a restriction rather arguable I'm afraid.

South Beach Diet offers more than a way towards a healthy body weight, it works on food mentality. Our attempt was to present the diet to our reader under various aspects, not only as the solve-it-all diet.

enter the zone diet

Before writing for “Enter The Zone Diet”, obesity was so far away from us. I think I can speak for both of us members of IR team, who never spent a thought about losing weight. In fact, there is not much left to lose before we become shadows. But that would be another discussion.

With Zone diet, we became aware of what a pain obesity can be. We want to help you learn some basic things about “the Zone”, because at the moment it is considered the most balanced weight loss plan among popular diets, but also the most uneasy to follow.

the mad coffee maker

With the mad coffee maker things were a lot different. It is by far my favorite, and I'm not afraid to say it. It's only normal after all to have preferences. I only hope that if you visit the site, you will see why we're mad about home brewed coffee. But maybe you are in that position already :)

business planning

Figuring out the whole story on business planning required a lot of documentation work. What we perceived as essential was to best present the role that business planning has come to play — of which many aren't fully aware.

Hence the importance to be given to a business plan — leaving aside neither form nor content.

• On the one hand, a business plan, investors or banks directed, represents a key, a passport to beginning a business or to expanding an existing one. Or it might just as well be a turn off and hinder development.
• On the other hand, a business plan might constitute a useful internal tool in controlling and directing a business.

Not enough professional reviews were to be found on Business Plan Pro. And neither on its competitors. More feedback would have been expectable for both the good sides and the bad aspects.

dvd recorders

When we first heard that we have to write about DVD recorders, we were not so happy. We even said words that I would be ashamed to reproduce here. We knew nothing upon the subject and didn't expect to develop a sudden passion for it soon. And here we are now, wanting to write about DVD recorders again, rather than wireless speakers, our current job. But that's life and we think DVD recorders came out pretty neat after all.
